The hard-court tournament at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center in the American city of New York City officially opens on September 29th. The days before the qualifiers are played as usual.

From day to day, several courses are played at the same time, before the finals are played on 10 and 11 October. From the first round up to and including the quarterfinals, there are two sessions a day where the matches are split up – the early session starts at. 17:00 and the night session at 13.00, in the quarter finals the two sessions start. at 18.00 and 01.00.

US Open 2022: Broadcast on TV and livestream

The broadcasting rights to the competition in Flushing Meadows are also included this year Eurosport. The sports broadcaster was already responsible for both the Australian Open and French Open this year and is also responsible for the tournament in New York City.
