20 seconds of training

You must try Bjön Schulz’s favorite exercise! No apologies please. It only takes 20 seconds, strengthens the whole body and is even suitable for beginners: the classic plank. To do this, lie on your stomach on the floor and place your elbows under your shoulders. Then put your feet up and lift your body. Hips and shoulders should be level. Pull your navel in and hold this position for 20 to 60 seconds.

A day at Feel Good Bootcamp

What can a day as a fitness holidaymaker look like? “Very different,” Schulz says. “As a rule, we start early in the morning with a so-called ‘actual analysis’ before eating. We determine different body values and then take a leisurely run. Then we do a few stabilization and strength exercises.” And then comes the fun part: a quick steam bath, then a natural bathing lake plus a healthy breakfast together. “I recommend oatmeal with blueberries and raspberries, vegetable sticks and a glass of OJ.”

After a break, training session two follows: body styling is popular with Schulz clients. Like fitness boxing, a sport that stars like Gigi Hadid or Scarlett Johansson swear by. “A short session lasts about 20 minutes, a classic boxing selection about 45 to 60. After lunch there is a break and then a third unit, depending on the goal. About fat burning or strength training,” says the celebrity coach. Then head to the sauna paradise with the hot-cold exchange for regeneration – and if you feel like it, you can treat yourself to a sports massage in the hotel’s spa.

Relaxation is a must

A training day like this can push especially inexperienced holiday athletes to their limits. Where is the holiday relaxation? Björn Schulz makes it very clear. “Sports beginners usually have a hard time believing me, but: It feels incredibly good to surpass themselves. It works best with professional support. Each guest gets a very individual training and nutrition plan from me, which goes into personal goals, age, weight and fitness level. The nice thing is that with my concept in “Stanglwirt” you can first train and then relax, “says Schulz. There are many ways to relax: a hike in nature, a glass of wine or a dessert. Björn Schulz also recommends soothing music and a mix of stability training and yoga. “It provides deep relaxation.” And what motivates you to keep going? “On the spot, I push my clients with a good mood that is contagious, different challenges and always new exercises and ideas. I actively involve them in the training design and sometimes even let them speak.” If you want to motivate yourself without a trainer, you should keep a fitness diary. “Enter your progress and treat yourself to something nice when you reach your goals,” says the professional. Sounds good.
