Our task in this area is life cycle management for the Respimat platform, implementation of new products and methods and approval of medical equipment. You will strengthen our teams in various projects – also across locations.

duties and responsibilities

  • With your expertise, you will undertake project assignments for the development and implementation of new drug delivery systems (autoinjector, PFS, …) and smart applications (smart inhaler, health app, …) in the Competence’s regulated environment Center for medical devices, including agile project management methods.
  • You will implement electronic or software-related tasks with the help of previously identified external partners.
  • You will confidently strengthen the network between pharmaceuticals, medical technology and IT within Boehringer Ingelheim.
  • In the field of software qualification (software as / in a medical device) you will build up knowledge during your induction.
  • Supported by your mentor, you will learn about business principles and processes, roles and responsibilities, control and execution in the pharmaceutical environment.

requirements

  • Master’s degree in information technology, electrical engineering, communication technology, software development, physics, medical physics, medical technology, mechanical engineering or similar
  • Ideally, knowledge in medical technology or pharmaceuticals, for example as part of an internship or through an education in an industrial environment
  • Programming knowledge / experience as well as hardware knowledge within electrical engineering / communication engineering is an advantage
  • Experienced handling of MS Office
  • Very good knowledge of German and English
  • You are characterized by your clear and direct communication and the ability to present project results in a way that is appropriate for the target group
  • You also score points with a binding, structured and results-oriented way of working in interdisciplinary teams
