In the spring of 2020, the company “VITA Gesundheit i Hamm” opened its doors on Alter Uentroper Weg 53. On the occasion of the fitness and health center’s 2nd birthday, the team with CEO Christian Dürwald and operations manager Nicole Schneider now invites all members and interested parties to an open day. takes place on May 21 from 10 p.m. to kl.
The team has developed several campaigns specifically for this purpose, which represent and illustrate the complete range of services from “VITA Gesundheit i Hamm”. Visitors can, for example, have an individual “InBody” body analysis and an “Egym” strength measurement performed free of charge. There is also the possibility of a physiotherapeutic consultation – also free of charge. In addition, various fitness and health courses are held throughout the day to give you a taste. So if you have always wanted to try Pilates, Tai Chi, professional circuit training or a self-assertion course under trained guidance, you have come to the right place this day and are most welcome.
As a special pleasure, those responsible organize a competition where there are several attractive prizes to be won. We also take care of your physical well-being in a cozy atmosphere in the gastro area or on the roof terrace. Donations of money for food and drink benefit Ukraine. “We are very much looking forward to welcoming many well-known – and still unknown – guests on this day and to being able to present the overall concept in our fitness and health center,” says Christian Dürwald.
Rehabilitation sports offer
The health aspect in particular is the company’s focus. One of the most innovative and modern therapy and health sports facilities in the region is presented on a total area of about 1,300 square meters. The focus is on the areas of physiotherapy and rehabilitation sports. Jeannie Heindorf and her team of four have seven modern, air-conditioned treatment rooms, covering the full range of physiotherapeutic work.
In addition, the rehabilitation sports sector is becoming increasingly popular. The course offerings are currently being expanded from 14 courses to 20 one-week courses. Special rehabilitation courses for children will soon be added to the offer.
Especially in the course area, the people in charge at “Vita Gesundheit in Hamm” like to break new ground and constantly expand the offer. Courses for abdominal muscles, body shape, cycling, gymnastics 60+, Pilates, yoga, barbell, active back, Tai Chi and fascia Qi-Gong are free for members, but can also be attended by non-members. The prerequisite for this is the purchase of a ten-card.
New are the self-assertion courses, which start shortly under the leadership of Uwe Dannapfel and Ralf Weidlich (several German and European masters of Taekwondo) and are aimed separately at women, men and soon also children. “These courses are primarily about recognizing and correctly assessing difficult situations and also about degrading behavior by using the right body language and behavior – in short: Participants develop the skills to act in conflict situations,” describes Uwe Dannapfel, who has already employed himself with this matter for a long time and is no stranger to this area, the course objectives.
A monthly lecture series will also be new from June. The first lectures will be dedicated to the topic of “pain” and everything related to it. Physiotherapist Daniel Müller, who is known in Hamm, will give a lecture on this.
