:
Seven hours for your well-being

Health Day takes place in Xanten for the first time on Sunday. Introductory courses, workshops and lectures are about yoga, meditation, water trampling, climbing, medicinal herbs and vegetable growing. An overview.

On Sunday you can sweat in Xanten – and then relax again immediately: For seven hours on Health Day, it’s all about exercise, nutrition and well-being. Experts show breathing exercises, provide information on growing vegetables, explain the effects of medicinal plants and offer mindfulness training. The offers are distributed at locations in Kurparken and on the North and South Seas. That’s why there is a free shuttle service: the Nibelungen Express commutes between Kurpark, the port of Xanten and APX. The passenger ship Seestern also sails on the South Seas, and bicycles and electric scooters can be rented at the port of Xanten (for a fee). Organizers are the leisure center (FZX), the tourist information (TIX) and the Kneipp club. The program is based on the five pillars of Pastor Sebastian Kneipp’s teachings.
