However, Tillger still plays for his college team in the US and will only be back in action for your NBV as number one in the next few weeks.

Despite the onset of darkness, the players did not have to stop the very long doubles: “For the first time, our new modern LED projector system from the netball club was used under competitive conditions and ensured daylight visibility,” says NBV chairman Bernd Wolf.
The second men’s team in the netball club, which plays in the district league, has been formed from scratch. Austrian Manfred Ziegler, who has been part of Mark Joachim’s coaching staff since the winter season, is now leading the team here. However, he lost to his opponent in the home game against Leichlinger TV 4: 6, 3: 6. All other matches went to the netball club’s account for an overall victory of 8: 1.
For the very first time, the NBV top talent Ilian Mechbal was used on the men’s team. The 12-year-old turns 13 this year and can now also play with the adults. Ilian is currently the third best player in the U14 age group in Germany and belongs to the German national team U14. In third place, Ilian won over 19-year-old Maximilian Maurer 6: 4, 6: 3.
In the doubles round, Ilian then played in the first doubles match with 26-year-old Laurin Knoke, who has served for NBV since this season. Together, the two won 6: 1 and 6: 2 and also had a lot of fun in their match.
One of the youngest NBV teams has just picked up the highest victory: the U12 girls won away at Stadtwald Hilden 6-0 in the district league.
