Lenovo is expanding the Yoga range and introducing ultra-slim notebooks that are characterized by performance, flexibility and optimized features for teamwork. Also included is the Yoga Slim 7i Carbon, which weighs less than 1 kg.

Lenovo has updated and expanded the Yoga line for flexible work in the home office, office, lecture hall or classroom. In addition to the 2-in-1 convertible, which is available in various form factors, there is now a new all-in-one PC with 4K resolution, the Yoga AIO 7.
The new features in the Yoga Slim line include Lenovo AI Engine +. For example, the intelligent performance of this AI engine can predict the user’s energy or battery needs depending on the activity, while Lenovo Intelligent Sense and Integrated Security ensure that Work and Play is smooth and safe.
In addition, the new 7th generation Yoga notebooks include Lenovo’s CO2 offset service. It takes into account the average carbon emissions associated with each unit – from manufacturing to shipping and the average life cycle (up to 5 years) – and supports UN-verified climate change projects.
Yoga Slim 9i
With the 14-inch premium model, Yoga Slim 9i, CO2-neutral certified, Lenovo wants to appeal to especially environmentally conscious digital nomads. The body is 14.9 mm slim and encased in 3D glass for a comfortable feeling when you hold it. It has a 16:10 OLED touch screen with up to 4K resolution. With the Vesa-certified HDR True Black 500 screen, the 10-bit panel can display over a billion colors and the full range of DCI-P3 color space. The brightness is 400 nits. Four speakers from sound specialists Bowers & Wilkins are also integrated.
The 1.37 kg lightweight and Intel Evo compatible notebook is powered by 12th generation Core processors. There is also up to 32 GB of RAM and 1 TB of SSD (PCIe Gen4 M.2 2242).
The sleek notebook will be available from July 2022 with a suggested retail price of 1,899 euros.
Yoga Slim 7i Pro X and Yoga Slim 7 Pro X
The two 14-inch Yoga models Slim 7i Pro X and Slim 7 Pro X are also flexible, light and powerful. They also work with next-generation Intel processors and up to 32GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Nvidia GPUs up to Geforce RTX 3050 with Nvidia Studio validation are optionally installed. Also under the bonnet, Lenovo’s X Power supports specific settings for the various usage scenarios for maximum CPU and GPU performance.
The 14.5-inch Lenovo Pure Sight screen has a 3K resolution and offers a refresh rate of 120 Hz. The laptops weigh only three pounds.
The two Slim 7 models start at 1,199 euros (RRP). They should also be available from July 2022.
Yoga Slim 7i Carbon
Yoga Slim 7i Carbon has a 13.3-inch IPS screen with a resolution of 2,560 x 1,600 pixels. A Lenovo Pure Sight touch screen with a refresh rate of 90 Hz and a larger aspect ratio of 16:10 is optionally available. The notebook weighs less than a kilo and is 14.8 mm thin in the narrowest place. Thanks to its magnesium alloy housing, which is reinforced with several layers of carbon fiber, the Slim 7i Carbon is said to be very robust. For the design, the manufacturer has chosen three modern, two-tone color options and an borderless keyboard with a large touchpad.
12th generation Intel Core processors work inside and adapt to the user’s energy and battery needs through self-regulating fan speed and performance.
The lightweight Yoga Slim 7i Carbon will also be available in July 2022 from € 1,299 (RRP).
Yoga Slim 7 Pro and Yoga Slim 7i Pro
Lenovo has announced an update to the 14-inch Yoga Slim 7 Pro and Yoga Slim 7i Pro. These sleek, aluminum-designed devices are available with either the latest Intel Core or AMD Ryzen processors in the 6000 series and a Geforce RTX 2050 portable graphics processor from Nvidia.
The larger 16-inch Yoga Slim 7 Pro and Yoga Slim 7i Pro come in Storm Gray and are designed for high graphics speeds. The Yoga Slim 7 Pro works with a Geforce RTX 3050 Ti laptop GPU and with Nvidia Studio Validation, while the Yoga Slim 7i Pro has an Intel Arc A370M graphics card integrated. Both notebooks have a 2.5K IPS display with up to 165 Hz.
The 14-inch versions of the Yoga Slim 7 Pro and Yoga Slim 7i Pro should cost less than 1,000 euros (RRP) when available from July 2022. The larger models (16-inch) will follow later in the year.
The new Lenovo Yoga 7 is a versatile 2-in-1 convertible powered by a powerful AMD Ryzen 6000 series processor (Ryzen 7 6800U, Ryzen 5 6600U). It has an OLED touch screen in 16:10 format with a resolution of up to 2.8K (2880×1800 pixels), Dolby Vision, hardware-based blue light suppression and Dolby Atmos for rich sound through the four integrated speakers. Yoga 7 is also said to be characterized by its long-lasting battery (71 Wh), which can play videos for up to 18 hours, and the fast charging feature Rapid Charge Express.
Yoga 7 is also scheduled to be launched in the summer at a suggested retail price of 1,299 euros.
Yoga AIO 7
The Yoga series is rounded off with an all-in-one Yoga AIO 7. The 27-inch IPS screen with 4K resolution can be rotated 90 degrees, lifted and tilted to several viewing angles. According to the manufacturer, a gentle pressure on the computer’s flexible hinge is sufficient for this. The new all-in-one desktop features an AMD Ryzen 6000 processor and, if desired, an AMD Radeon RX 6600M graphics card.
The ability to share and collaborate is also integrated. This allows users to wirelessly mirror their smartphone screen to their desktop screen to watch videos, scroll through photos or surf social media. And thanks to the Yoga AIO 7’s Type-C port, it’s possible to connect a notebook to enjoy an extended screen and control both devices with one keyboard and a mouse. At the same time, the notebook is charged.
The all-in-one PC will go on sale in June 2022. The price starts at 1,499 euros (RRP).
