Namaste am See – Wörthersee Yoga Festival 2022

Finally! The Namaste am See Yoga Festival takes place again during the Whitsun weekend at Lake Wörthersee. With yoga world stars and international participants, the three-day yoga festival from 3 to 5 June 2022 is one of the largest in Europe and awaits you with a world-class line-up in front of the turquoise blue lake in the background Wörthersee.

Hundreds of yogis are waiting for the Pentecost weekend yoga festival with great joy and lots of #positivevibes. The dreamlike turquoise of Lake Wörthersee, the clear, fresh air, the deep, calm breathing and the crystal clear thoughts bring body, mind and soul into harmony. With its joy of color, the early summer at Wörthersee is an addition of superlatives. The program offers magical yoga moments, pure holiday feeling, beautiful turquoise water and – a fabulous international line-up.

Yoga is part of this year’s line-up

The organizers of the Wörthersee-Rosental Tourismus region have succeeded in attracting special international yoga professionals, who are known far beyond their borders, to the festival. Hiro Landazuri, Marc Holzman, Julia Pross, Sara Ticha, Geoff Brooks, Gabriela Bozic, Marcel Clementi and many more are there.

The yoga stars’ workshops take place in real powerhouses on Lake Wörthersee, which offer stunning views of the sparkling lake. At Namaste am See, the yoga stars stand with the yogis during their workshops on the mat, at SUPs, on Europe’s tallest wooden lookout tower, knee-deep in the water or barefoot on the beach, enjoying the Mediterranean feel of Lake Wörthersee together. This is how guests experience their yoga stars up close, training, teaching and laughing. The water and sun greetings together, the sporty “power out” hours and the relaxing meditations in the middle of beautiful nature or on the world’s tallest wooden lookout tower, Pyramidenkogel, bring something unforgettable: enthusiasm, excitement, relaxation and – heartfelt moments in the heart.

The largest yoga class in Austria. Do yoga – no war!

How wonderful. The largest yoga class in Austria sends a strong signal of peace. The yoga class, which is freely accessible to all passionate yogis and yogis, is led by the line-up’s international yoga stars on Friday 3 June from 6 pm in Kurparken in Velden. With as many participants as possible, there will be yoga and meditation for a good cause. There will be a donation box on site. The proceeds will be donated to Neighbor in Need (humanitarian aid in Ukraine).

New and proven

The Wörthersee Yoga Festival takes place according to the motto “back to the roots” on the flower island and in the congress center in Pörtschach. In addition, many “goodies” are offered to make the stay for the Wörthersee yoga community really enjoyable. Yoga and breakfast – belong together as namaste and sea. What could be nicer than a healthy and invigorating meal after an intense yoga morning. This year, the WIKIBOWLS yogis will be pampered at Food Plaza. To leave a good organic footprint, the food will be reserved with pre-order, so that there is as little left over as possible.

Festival Weekend Pass

The yoga festival is becoming more and more popular every year. It is therefore especially important to secure a ticket early enough. With the Festival Weekend Pass you can put together your individual program for Namaste by the lake. “First come, first served!” is the motto. You no longer have to sign up for the tuition at the festival on site. All information about the festival and tickets is available at https://yoga.woerthersee.com/festival/festival-tickets

Relaxation on the Slow Trail Yoga Trail

We have the perfect tip for all guests looking for a little distance from the festival bustle: Slow Trail Yogaweg in Velden. Can be reached in a few minutes from the center of Velden, and you will find a lot of peace and quiet here. Carefully follow the path through the picturesque Teufelsgraben and enjoy the silence and focus on yourself.
