Dispute Tanguy Nianzou: Is FC Bayern threatened with gossip again as with Flick?

Munich – On Saturday, after winning his second championship, Tanguy Nianzou was one of Bayern’s happiest players. The 19-year-old Frenchman especially enjoyed the obligatory wheat beer showers. With radiant eyes, he chased after his colleagues and showered them with the sticky beer. How fun!

Bayern Munich reportedly want to loan Tanguy Nianzou

The question is just: Will Nianzou also be present at the next title celebration in Munich?

According to the French newspaper “L’Équipe”, FC Bayern are considering to borrow the defender to give him more combat training. Especially coach Julian Nagelsmann should prefer this variant. Instead, the coach would like to hire a seasoned defensive specialist as Niklas Süle leaves the club and moves to Borussia Dortmund.

Sports director Hasan Salihamidzic, on the other hand, is dependent on an internal solution with Benjamin Pavard and him: Nianzou.

Nianzou with 20 competitive appearances in FC Bayern

The former Paris Saint-Germain youth player has been in 20 matches this season, most recently, the shape curve pointed upward for him. However, Nianzou also has occasional dropouts – as in the 3-0 victory in Bielefeld, when he saw a yellow card after an elbow blow and was replaced by Nagelsmann during the break. The coach then spoke of an “educational measure, it’s a red card.”

Nianzou has to learn “to go in there a little more carefully. He’s a really nice guy and did not do it on purpose. But he also has this urge in training to sometimes be a little too aggressive.”

Nagelsmann publicly criticizes Nianzou

This was not the first time Nagelsmann had publicly criticized Nianzou. Instead, Salihamidzic protects the youngster, praising his development and wishing him several minutes of play.

Dispute Nianzou. Salihamidzic repeatedly had quarrels over individual personal details with Nagelsmann’s predecessor Hansi Flick. Is there a risk of gossip again?

The future of Bayern's goal machine Robert Lewandowski is still wide open.

Monaco, Leverkusen and RB Leipzig interested in Nianzou

You want to “look around the transfer market”, Nagelsmann said when it came to saying goodbye to Süle: “We will not only go into the new season with the players we have, we will do something there.” However, Nianzou also has “definitely the chance to get more playing time”.

At another club this opportunity would probably be greater, there are after all also Lucas Hernández, Dayot Upamecano and Pavard in Bayern’s defense.

Alphonso Davies is on the left, while Noussair Mazraoui, who is coming to Munich from Ajax Amsterdam, will play on the right in the future.

Monaco, Leverkusen and Leipzig with interest

AS Monaco, Bayer Leverkusen and RB Leipzig are said to be interested in Nianzou. In particular, the Saxons seem to be trying to get the defender, even before the switch to Bayern 2020, RB was on Nianzou. The then Leipzig sporting director Ralf Rangnick spoke of “one of the greatest defensive talents I have ever seen” and said of Nianzou: “He will be a regular player at the latest in a year or two.”

It’s not that far off yet – so a loan could make sense.
